Move and Be Moved
At MoveStudio, we’re all about helping women 40 and up find the movement that feels right for them. With over 25 classes a week, we offer everything from cardio dance and strength training to mobility, flexibility, and core-focused workouts—all designed to support strong, healthy bodies at any stage of life.
Our specialty classes in pelvic health, bone and muscle building, and nutrition provide even more ways to feel your best. No matter where you are on your wellness journey, there’s something here for you!
MoveStudio opened its doors in October 2000, and for 25 years,
Candace Bordelon has been part of the heart and soul of this community.
She first came in as a dance teacher and quickly found herself building deep connections with clients, creating new classes, offering wellness support, and growing alongside the studio.
In 2023, Candace officially stepped into ownership—moving MoveStudio to a fresh, welcoming new space just down the road and breathing new life into a place that’s meant so much to so many. Her goal? To carry forward everything people have always loved about MoveStudio while making it even more accessible, modern, and aligned with what busy, wellness-minded women need today.
Today, MoveStudio is still that special place where you can show up just as you are, move your body in ways that feel good, and be part of a supportive, real-life community. With classes in yoga, mat Pilates, strength, and cardio dance, there’s something here for every body—and every stage of life.
