Pilates at MoveStudio

Our Pilates classes help you build a strong, stable core while improving posture, flexibility, and body awareness. Whether you're recovering from injury, looking to prevent pain, or wanting to feel stronger and more confident in your body, we offer two unique styles—Classic Mat Pilates and POP Pilates®—to meet your needs!

Our Pilates Classes

Classic Mat Pilates

Rooted in the original work of Joseph Pilates, this class focuses on precise, controlled movements designed to build core strength, improve alignment, and support functional movement. You’ll move mindfully through a series of exercises that strengthen your entire body—from the inside out—with special attention to the spine, hips, and deep core.

Great for all levels, especially those dealing with chronic pain, pelvic floor issues, or seeking a solid foundation.

Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6 pm
Fridays at 10 am
Saturdays at 9 am
Sundays at 10 am

POP Pilates®

POP Pilates® is a music-driven, high-energy fusion of Pilates, balance work, and strength training. Set to upbeat pop music, this part mat, part standing workout targets every muscle group with fun, flowing movements that feel more like choreography than exercise.

While Classical Pilates focuses on precise, controlled movements and breathwork in a structured sequence, POP Pilates® amps it up with a more dynamic pace, modern music, and choreographed routines. It’s playful, powerful, and totally addictive—while still grounded in Pilates principles like alignment, core strength, and mobility.

Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10 am

All classes are offered in-person, livestreamed, or available as a 24-hour recording to fit your schedule.

Mat Pilates & MoveStudio FAQs

What is the difference between Classic Mat Pilates and POP Pilates®?

Both are mat-based workouts that strengthen your core, improve posture, and support mobility—but they have different vibes!

Classic Mat Pilates follows the traditional method developed by Joseph Pilates. It focuses on precise, controlled movements, breathwork, and alignment. The pace is slower and more intentional, making it ideal for building deep strength, managing pain, and improving body awareness.

POP Pilates® is a modern, upbeat twist on Pilates! It’s choreographed to pop music, with flowing, dance-like movements that create a full-body burn. It’s faster-paced, more energetic, and feels more like a fun workout party—while still rooted in Pilates principles.
