Our MOVE Method combines four essential class types—yoga, Pilates, cardio dance, and strength training—to support mobility, strength, cardiovascular fitness, and stress relief at every stage of life. Classic Mat Pilates is rooted in the original work of Joseph Pilates and focuses on precise, controlled movements designed to build core strength, improve alignment, and support functional movement.

POP Pilates® blends Pilates, dance, and strength training into a high-energy, mat-based workout set to upbeat pop music.

Dance Fitness

We all need aerobic exercise to get our hearts pumping and improve cardiovascular health—but cardio doesn’t have to mean pounding the pavement or slogging away on a treadmill or bike. It doesn’t have to be joint-jarring, either. That’s why we’ve created fun, joint-safe, music-inspired classes where your workout feels like a party. Whether you’re shaking it in Latin Cardio, channeling your inner diva in Disco Queen Cardio, or moving mindfully in Nia, you’ll enjoy uplifting music, joyful movement, and a welcoming community. Plus, research shows that dancing not only boosts heart health but also helps reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance cognitive function.

Here’s what to expect when you visit our Far North Dallas fitness studio!

What to Bring?

For Yoga: Most people prefer to bring their own yoga mat; however, we have everything you need.

For Mat Pilates: You can bring your yoga mat and place it onto one of our thicker Pilates mats if you wish. Otherwise, no additional materials are needed.

For Dance Fitness Classes: You might bring a towel for sweat!

For All Other Classes: Bring a refillable water bottle so you can use our filtered water cooler. We provide yoga props, weights and other equipment needed for classes.

What to Wear?

Close-fitting is better than loose for mat-based classes (Pilates and yoga).

Pilates, yoga, and Nia™ classes are done barefoot. Some clients prefer non-stick or “gripper” socks. Please see the class description for specific class recommendations. If you wear sneakers or dance shoes to class, PLEASE be sure the soles are clean before entering the studio! Dirt and debris from street shoes can damage our floors and can be dangerous to those who are barefoot.

We strongly recommend having a clean pair of shoes only for dancing and not wearing them outside the studio if possible.

LIVE STREAMING + VIDEO REPLAY

At MoveStudio, we’re here to help individuals of all fitness levels achieve a healthy, pain-free lifestyle through personalized, science-based classes that feed the body, mind, and spirit. By registering for “livestream,” you’ll receive both the live stream link and the recording of the class. You have until the end of the following day to view the recording for drop-in classes.

    You will receive an email with a direct class link and meeting ID/password for the Zoom session 30 minutes before class. Within an hour after class ends, the link to the video recording will be sent. Videos are available through the following day for drop-in classes and 7 days for series courses and workshops.

LOOKING FOR THE REPLAY?

For urgent assistance with class, please text:

For drop-in classes, you have access to the video for 24 hours. For workshops and series classes, you have access for 7 days.

You will receive an email with directions on how to access the video replay within one hour after the class ends. Each video has a passcode that is case-sensitive, so please make sure you check your email to access the replay.

Both virtual options—Livestream and Video Access—are registered under “Livestream.” You must register ahead of your class time.

Our Studio Policies

Advance registration is advised, as spots may not be available for walk-ins.

Please arrive on time for classes; students more than 15 minutes late will not be able to join class.

Please honor these healthy practices and mask guidelines when visiting MoveStudio.

No one under 15 is allowed in class; if your teenager wants to join, please register them as a new student and follow the same procedures.
