1. BOOKING, DEPOSITS & PAYMENT

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure all studio rentals.

• The remaining balance is charged to the credit or debit card on file 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental.

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the rental are non-refundable.

2. RENTAL TIME, ACCESS & USE OF SPACE

• Rental time includes all set-up and tear-down. Early arrival or late departure is not permitted unless approved in advance.

• Late departures are rounded to the next 15 minutes and charged to the credit or debit card on file.

• Rental activities must be fully contained within the studio space reserved.

• Prolonged use of the lobby, hallways, or other common areas is not permitted unless those spaces are explicitly reserved.

• Additional charges may apply for rentals outside of MoveStudio’s normal business hours or for excessive cleaning or time required to restore the space to its original condition.

3. SET-UP, CLEAN-UP & CONDITION OF SPACE

• The renter is fully responsible for set-up, tear-down, and care of the rented space.

• All common areas and restrooms must be left in the same condition as they were at the start of the rental.

• All trash, personal items, and rental materials must be removed at the conclusion of the rental.

• MoveStudio is not responsible for items left behind on the premises.

4. FURNITURE & EQUIPMENT USE

• A limited number of folding tables and/or stackable chairs may be available.

• Any furniture or equipment requests must be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability.

• Renters may not move studio equipment or artwork without prior approval.

5. DAMAGE, REPAIRS & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

• The renter assumes full financial responsibility for any damage to the facility, floors, walls, artwork, or equipment.

• The renter agrees to pay in full for repair or replacement of any item damaged by the renter, instructors, participants, students, guests, or visitors associated with the rental.

6. LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

• The renter assumes all risk and liability for injury to any person in the studio during the rental, including the renter, instructors, participants, students, guests, or visitors.

• MoveStudio is not liable for injuries sustained during rental activities.

7. CHILDREN & MINORS POLICY

MoveStudio is an adult-centered facility designed specifically for adult programs. The studio is not childproof and features original artwork and fitness equipment that could result in injury. MoveStudio is intentionally designed for adult use and does not operate as a child-friendly environment. In accordance with MoveStudio’s insurance and liability requirements:

• Children under the age of 15 are not permitted anywhere in the studio, including the lobby, hallways, and common areas, unless they are registered participants in the scheduled class or rental activity.

• Children under the age of 15 who are enrolled and actively participating in a class or program (such as youth or martial arts instruction) are permitted only during their scheduled class time and must remain under the direct supervision of the renter or instructor at all times.

• Adult participants may not bring children under the age of 15 to wait, observe, or accompany them before, during, or after a rental.

• This policy applies regardless of the length of time a child is in the building, including arrival, early set-up, or departure.

• Failure to comply with this policy may result in immediate cancellation of the rental without refund.

8. LOBBY MONITORING & BUILDING ACCESS

• If the front door is unlocked and no MoveStudio staff member is present, the lobby may not be left unattended.

• The renter must designate a person to monitor the lobby at all times while the door is unlocked.

• Failure to comply may result in additional staffing fees or loss of future rental privileges.

9. FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY

• All events involving food or beverages must be approved in advance by the studio manager.

• Approval is granted on a case-by-case basis.

• A non-refundable additional deposit may apply for food or beverage service.

• MoveStudio does not have a kitchen. Local catering recommendations are available upon request.

• Renters are responsible for all food-related clean-up and trash removal.

10. PROMOTION, REGISTRATION & PAYMENTS

• MoveStudio does not promote rental events, classes, or workshops.

• MoveStudio does not collect payments, registrations, or fees on behalf of renters.

• All marketing, registration, and payment collection is the sole responsibility of the renter.

11. PROHIBITED ITEMS & ACTIVITIES

The following are strictly prohibited in order to protect the studio, flooring, artwork, and air quality:

• Street shoes (clean, non-marking indoor shoes must be used when needed)

• Tap shoes, flamenco shoes, or shoes with exposed nails

• High-heeled shoes unless pre-approved by the studio manager (shoes will be inspected by staff)

• Glitter or feathers

• Open flames, including candles

• Smoking, vaping, incense, or tobacco products

• Chewing gum

• Rosin

• Animals, except service dogs individually trained to perform specific tasks related to a disability (emotional support animals are not permitted)

12. AGREEMENT & ACKNOWLEDGMENT

• By booking a studio rental at MoveStudio, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to all MoveStudio Studio Rental Policies.

• Completion of a booking and payment of any deposit or rental fees constitutes acceptance of these policies, whether or not a separate signed agreement is provided.

• MoveStudio reserves the right to refuse or terminate any rental that does not comply with these policies.
