Workshops and Specialty Classes
Our workshops are one-time, immersive experiences that provide in-depth exploration of various wellness topics. These are great opportunities to learn new skills, rejuvenate your routine, and connect with our supportive community. Most workshops are 2 hours in length and have in-person, live stream, and video replay options.

Monthly Candlelight Yoga
Join us for Candlelight Yoga on the first Friday of every month at MoveStudio. Unwind with a complimentary glass of wine and luxuriate with a 90-minute session that includes relaxing yoga, breathwork, and soothing sound therapy, all by candlelight. It's the perfect way to decompress from your week and rejuvenate your mind and body for the weekend. Grab a friend, or make it a date night!

Pelvic Floor Health Workshop
Pelvic Floor issues present in a variety of ways—incontinence, pelvic pressure or pain, frequent urination, constipation, and pain during intercourse. In this 2-hour workshop, you'll learn how to strengthen these crucial muscles through targeted exercises and practical techniques. A healthy pelvic floor improves core stability, bladder control, sexual function, and overall well-being. Whether you're dealing with pelvic issues or simply looking to prevent them, this workshop empowers you with tools for lifelong wellness. Taught by certified pelvic floor specialist Sue Dado.

Intro to Alexander Technique

Join us for a transformative two-hour workshop exploring the Alexander Technique with certified instructor Matt Urbanek.
This introductory session is ideal for anyone experiencing chronic pain, tension, or discomfort from habitual movement patterns. Through gentle guided exercises, Matt teaches you to recognize and release chronic tension, correct destructive movement patterns, and enhance your movement efficiency and breathing.
Whether new to the Alexander Technique or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop provides valuable tools to improve your daily life. All levels are welcome!

Our series courses range from 4-8 weeks in length and cover a variety of topics. And if you missed the start date, don’t worry! You can join mid-series at a prorated rate, or register for a single class.
Belly Dance
Monday Evenings, January 13-February 17
Belly dance is a full-body workout that enhances flexibility, core strength, and coordination while allowing you to express yourself creatively. Our expert instructors provide a supportive and fun environment where you can learn the beautiful art of belly dance, connect with a vibrant community, and experience the joy of movement. Our award-winning performer, instructor, and choreographer Elizabeth “Sa’diyya” Parr offer Belly Dance Basics for beginners or those wanting to brush-up on their technique and Beyond the Basics for dancers who are intermediate or advanced.

Yoga for Golfers
Master Yoga Instructor Tida Chambers teams up with Certified PGA Golf Instructor Bo Bostrum to elevate your golf game with our Yoga for Golfers class at MoveStudio! Pilates for Pelvic Floor Series

Designed specifically to improve pelvic stability and function, this series focuses on exercises that enhance muscle control, support bladder health, and reduce discomfort. This course is perfect for anyone looking to improve core strength, support postpartum recovery, improve incontinence, reduce pelvic pain, or enhance overall wellness. Taught by yoga and Pilates instructor and Certified Pelvic Floor Health specialist Sue Dado.

Alexander Technique Series
Taught by certified Alexander Technique instructor Matt Urbanek, This course offers an in-depth exploration of the Alexander Technique, a practice designed to help you unlearn habitual patterns of tension, improve posture, and enhance overall well-being. You'll build upon the foundational principles each week, learning to apply them to everyday activities and specialized movements.

Hip Mobility Mastery
Led by Master Yoga Instructor Phyllis Smith, dive into specialized exercises and stretches specifically for those recovering from injuries, hip replacements, or with hip mobility challenges. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I just come to one class in a series to try it out?
If space is available, we do offer single class options in most series classes. Single classes are usually priced $25-$35.
I just learned about a series, but it’s already started. Can I join?
Yes! If space is available, you may join a series at any time at a prorated cost.
I’m going to be traveling one of the weeks and will miss a class. What happens?
Anyone missing a series class will receive a video recording of the class that is available for 7 days. We do not give refunds or credits for missed classes.
I’m not able to finish the series. Can I get a refund?
When you register for a series, you are paying tuition for the entire course. There are no refunds for missed classes, but we will make video recordings of each class available.
I signed up for a workshop but can’t attend. Can I get a refund?
For our series courses and workshops, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before the start of the course or workshop to receive a full refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time are non-refundable.
