Guidelines at MoveStudio

Studio Etiquette, Health and Safety Guidelines, and Booking/Pricing Policies

In order to provide you with the best experience possible, we kindly ask for your cooperation in observing a few basic policies. By voluntarily participating in classes and activities at MoveStudio you agree to abide by studio etiquette and policies.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Drop-ins

Please note that we require at least 8 hours' notice for cancellations of in-person drop-in classes to avoid any charges or penalties.

If you cancel within 8 hours of class, this is considered a late cancellation and results in the loss of the class.

No refunds or freezes are given on Class Passes. If a Class Pass expires, clients may reactivate the remaining classes for $6 per class.

Series Courses

When you register for a series, you are paying tuition for the entire course. There are no refunds for missed classes, but a video recording of the class may be available.

Clients may cancel 24 hours before the first class for a full refund.Refunds are not available after that, regardless of attendance.

Series classes cannot be converted to drop-in classes.

Clients cannot withdraw mid-series. If a client chooses not to continue, there are no refunds.

On rare occasions when a class must be canceled (inclement weather, instructor illness, power outage), it may be extended by one week or a video of the class made available.

Workshops and
Special Events

You must cancel 24 hours prior to the event's start time for refund or credit.

If you cancel within 24 hours, no refunds are given regardless of attendance. Late cancellations and no-shows can not be credited nor made up.

Private Training

24 hours in advance of session for credit with instructor, otherwise client forfeits the session.

Our private sessions are on a strict schedule. If you are late, the session still ends at its scheduled time.

Sauna

12 hours in advance of session for credit on account.

Late cancellations and no-shows can not be credited
and can not be made up.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for a session,
the session payment may be forfeited with no refunds.

MOVESTUDIO ETIQUETTE

As a courtesy to instructors and fellow students, please arrive on time (or better yet, a few minutes early) for classes. 

Please inform your instructor if you must leave early. 

If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may not be able to join the class, as latecomers can be disruptive to the class.

To help make the most of our space and protect the floors, please do not bring street shoes, clothing, purses, bags, food, or drinks other than water into the studios.  We have lockers available for safe storage.

Please no cell phones in studios!

You may bring in water, a towel, and any other props needed for class. If you wear sneakers or dance shoes to class, please be sure the soles are clean before entering the studio.

To maintain our peaceful environment, please lock your cell phone in a locker. Under NO circumstances should phones be used/messages checked inside the class studios.  We have lockers for safe storage.

If you must use your phone, please do so outside to avoid disturbing others.

Please be conscientious when you have foot injuries, warts or fungus issues, infections, etc. that can be transmitted in a barefoot environment. Wear shoes or socks and secure bandages until the condition is fully healed.

For workshops and events held outside of regular class hours, please arrive early or call if you are running late, as the front door may be locked once the event begins.

Please don't wear perfume or other scented products to class, since many people are sensitive and even allergic. 
However, a freshly washed body (and feet) and the use of antiperspirant and/or deodorant are appreciated by fellow students!

The studio is designed for adults; we do not have onsite facilities or staff for childcare. For their own safety and the comfort of other members, do not bring children to the studio. Children may NOT wait in the lobby while you are in class. 

Mature teenagers 15 and older are welcome to take classes. All client, regardless of age, are required to have their own account in their name (regardless of who is paying for the class). The General Waiver and Release form must be signed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian.

To reduce clutter in the studios, please use the complimentary lockers in the dressing rooms for purses, valuables, phones, etc. MoveStudio is not responsible for the theft of valuables in the studio or parking lot.

HEALTHY PRACTICES WHEN VISITING MOVESTUDIO

01. SELF-SCREEN FOR SYMPTOMS

Cough

Headache

Chills

Muscle Pain

Shortness of breath or
difficulty breathing

When quarantine is advised

Sore Throat

Loss of taste or smell

Diarrhea

Feeling Feverish

Repeated Shaking with chills

A measure temp greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit

02. HEALTH PRACTICES

Wash and disinfect your hands upon entering and before leaving the studio (at minimum).

Wash your hands frequently. Completely lather for 20+ seconds.

Hand sanitizer is available at the front entry. Be sure to apply enough and let it air dry for the best benefits.

Do not touch your face (especially eyes, nose, and mouth).

Do not wear street shoes in class. Wear clean STUDIO-ONLY shoes when needed. If needed, change from your street shoes into your studio-only shoes in your car before entering MoveStudio.

03. PROPS OR SUPPLIES

While we have everything you need to enjoy your class at MoveStudio, we recommend bringing your own yoga mat and towel.

Please bring your own water bottle. Chilled, filtered water is available for refills

MOVESTUDIO BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICIES

01. INTRODUCTORY OFFER

For first-time clients or clients who have been inactive for 12 months or more.

$49 for 14 days of unlimited drop-in classes, in person, live stream, or video access.

Please preregister as space is limited. We cannot guarantee a spot for walk-ins.

Activates day of first visit.

02. MEMBERSHIPS

GOLD MEMBERSHIP

Ideal for clients attending 3 or more classes per week, or more than 20 classes per month.

Unlimited drop-in classes

Two guest passes per month

Two 30-minutes sauna sessions per month

Gold Member discounts on special events

$10 penalty for in-person late cancellations and no-shows

Autopay with debit/credit card each month

May not be shared

3 month minimum committment

14-day cancellation policy

Membership may "frozen" for travel, surgery, etc. for up to 2 months once a year. By freezing the membership, the price is protected. If a member cancels and then rejoins later, they run the risk of a price increase.
