Our expert instructors help you build strength, stability, and confidence through pregnancy and after birth, so you feel in control of your body, not at its mercy.

Prenatal Yoga

Classes focus on strength, stability, breathwork, and back pain relief — all chosen to support you throughout pregnancy. Expect expert cues, thoughtful modifications, and space to move. Classes are kept small to ensure each Mama gets the attention she deserves.

Postpartum Strength

Postpartum classes support strength, pelvic floor health, and stress relief through Pilates, strength training, and mindful movement. Babies are welcome until crawling, breastfeeding is always welcome, and you’ll move alongside a supportive community of new moms — without pressure or expectations.

A former dancer, Suzanne Dado holds a BA in Dance Teaching and Choreography from Columbia College in Chicago. Having practiced yoga and Pilates since college, she earned her 600-hour Power Pilates Certification and Yoga Teaching Certification. The heart and soul of our “MoveStudio Mamas” program, Sue is also a prenatal and postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Pelvic Floor Specialist.

Danyell Taylor brings her background in childhood education and community-based programs into her prenatal yoga teaching, creating a nurturing space for connection between mother and child. Do I need a physician’s release to participate?

No — just check in with your provider so you feel confident and safe. Our program follows national exercise guidelines for pregnancy and postpartum movement.

When can I attend postpartum classes?

While most women resume light exercise 6 weeks post-birth, there are many factors that can help you determine when you are ready to resume exercise postpartum, such as pre-pregnancy fitness level and type of delivery.

We ask that you speak with your health care provider before attending any postpartum fitness classes.

What do I need to bring to class?

We recommend bringing your own yoga mat and refillable water bottle.

If your class requires other props, we provide those for you.  

When are classes?

What if I need to cancel my class?

We keep our prenatal and postpartum classes small to ensure our Mamas are receiving the attention they deserve, so spots are limited. We do have an 8-hour cancellation policy for classes—late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of the class.

Am I able to bring my child with me to class?

Our Postpartum Recovery classes are designed to be done with or without your new baby until they begin crawling. We do not have childcare services, so no other children may be present.

Can I do this class with my partner, sister, mom, or friend?

Our Prenatal Yoga classes are designed specifically for expecting mothers. Because space is limited, we prioritize moms-to-be, but we do allow non-pregnant (female only) guests if spots are available. Guests just need to register for class like any other participant. That said, most of the content is tailored to pregnancy, so if you want to practice together more often, our Relax & Stretch yoga classes are also a great fit!

How does the livestream and video replay work?

When you register for class, simply choose the “Livestream” option. About 15–20 minutes before class begins, you’ll receive an email with a Zoom link so you can join live and participate in real time.

After class ends, you’ll get a second email with a link to the class recording. The recording will be available to you for 3 days, so you can replay it on your own schedule.
