PILATES EQUIPMENT TRAINING We have several certified trainers offering private and semi-private training on the Pilates equipment. Reach your fitness goals more quickly with an intensive yet gentle customized workout using the Reformer, Trapeze Table (Cadillac), Tower, Chair, Spine Corrector and Ladder Barrel, physical conditioning equipment designed by Joseph Pilates. The equipment provides safe, stable spring resistance that dramatically builds muscle strength and tone without bulk. Private training is focused on your needs and abilities, ensuring lots of personal attention. Equipment work is appropriate for all levels of students, especially beginners and those with special needs. For most students without serious physical limitations, basic Pilates matwork experience will be very helpful and is strongly suggested in conjunction with equipment work. We recommend completing at least four sessions to determine whether equipment training is right for you. You may contact our affiliated trainers directly to schedule private training, or contact Jackie at the studio for more information and assistance. See photos of Pilates equipment training. Logistics for Pilates Equipment Classes: Space is limited to four students per class, so you must sign up and pay in advance for each class. Drop-ins are sometimes possible if a class is not full, but be aware: if there is no one registered by 12 hours before a class, it will be canceled. Call the studio at 972.732.0206 if you're unsure about a particular upcoming class. Signup is easy: Go to our online schedule and enroll for the class of your choice under the "Drop-in Classes" tab. If you don't already have payment on your account, you'll be prompted to pay at that time. If you need help registering, call or visit the front desk and we'll help you get set up. When a class is already full you'll be asked if you want to be on the wait list. If a class is not full or registered students no-show, drop-ins will be accepted at the door. Spots cannot be reserved or held without payment, no exceptions. A few important policies: If you enroll and don't show up for class, your payment will be forfeited as there will usually be a wait list of people wanting spots. You must cancel yourself out of the class online or by phone at least 24 hours in advance if you're unable to attend. You may send a substitute in your place if you're unable to make it on short notice. When a cancellation occurs, we'll call those on the wait list in order and give the spot to the first person we are able to reach and confirm. Also, if you are more than 5 minutes late, your spot may be forfeited to a standby. Our goal is to keep these classes full and provide affordable training to as many people as possible each week, and we appreciate your consideration. There is a primary instructor for each of these classes but our other certified trainers will guest-teach from time to time. This will not alter your responsibility to show up for class if you are signed up.
