She encourages students to surrender to the movement, to intuition and to sensation, without judgment, and invites them to experience the body as HOME. Although extensively educated, Kimberly believes that personal experience is more valuable than method. Thus, Kimberly facilitates from her own somatic discovery process and creates opportunities for others to make their own unique, embodied discoveries. She holds safe space for students to explore their core aliveness and child like spontaneity through movement, in addition to wounds and traumas. When she’s not rocking out the dance floor, you can find Kimberly assisting busy wellness entrepreneurs growing, managing and organizing their businesses through marketing, social media, community and program development, events, business planning, leadership and team building. |Bobby Garcia began his martial arts education in 1988 with Okinawan Karate, Taekwondo, and Western Boxing. In 1996 he went on to study Judo, Ju-Jitsu (Japanese and Brazilian) and Aikido. Additional training came in the arts of Modern Arnis and Escrima, Kendo, and Kobudo (traditional Okinawan weaponry). |
Bobby's desire to serve the public led him to work 6 years in the field of emergency medicine as an EMT, begin his teaching career in 2000, and most recently graduate as Valedictorian of his Del Mar Regional Police Academy class in 2013.
In the summer of 2001, Bobby's life changed. He fractured his pelvis and nearly lost his leg in a serious motorcycle accident. Doctors told him that he may never walk normally again. While recovering, he read about a martial art called “Tai Chi” and its associated therapeutic and health benefits. In 2002, with physical therapy completed, he still had limited mobility and decided to begin training in Yang Style Tai Chi. Noticing dramatic improvements in his mobility and strength, Tai Chi / Kung Fu training quickly warranted all his attention. Bobby discontinued other training paths to focus on Kung Fu training which included Yang Style Tai Chi, Yin Style Baguazhang and Northern Praying Mantis.
This focus on traditional Chinese martial arts and associated health exercises (Neigong and Qigong) picked up where physical therapy left off. Using these tools, Bobby has been able to recover from his accident and continues to cultivate his personal healing path.
In 2005 Mr. Garcia began teaching the traditional Chinese martial arts to both children and adults. In 2014, he was welcomed by SimplyAware to continue developing his skill as a therapeutic Tai Chi and Qigong Instructor.
Bobby Garcia teaches the martial as well as health aspects of the traditional Chinese martial arts, viewing them as two sides to the same whole. He has served as both an adult and youth tournament judge, and attended numerous and varied workshops and seminars to expand knowledge and ability.

I know what it takes to crawl out from the darkness, create a life of abundance and expansion, and find the absolute joy of truth. I want to share with you the practices that got me there. The somatic experiences of yoga and conscious dance have transformed my inner landscape from fearful self-loathing to compassionate curiosity. I believe that these practices have been gifted to me from Spirit and my soul's deep longing for connection, and that my life's work is to be of service by sharing my passion for movement as a potent catalyst for transformation. Celia Naples, CHC, grew up in Fort Worth Texas where she inherited her love of fresh home cooked foods from her grandmother. While her grandmother imparted the basics of traditional southern cooking, she also shared her adventurous side and encouraged Celia at an early age to embrace vegetarian and ethnic foods.
After a health scare, Celia began to view food in a new way and became a firm believer that food is medicine and that we are made of what we consume. She happily claims to be both an eat to live AND live to eat kind of person. In other words she enjoys food while also respecting its power to harm or heal. Celia says, “It’s about nourishment and pleasure. I believe you can enjoy healthy life affirming foods as much if not more than foods that only excite the taste buds but do nothing to nourish the body or help it heal.”
Celia trained with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and became a Certified Holistic Health Coach in May 2013. She is also a board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and a Certified Trinity Energy Progression Practitioner, and she is training to become a Reiki Master.
Along with her formal training, Celia brings a lifetime of experience, knowledge and intuition to her coaching practice. She has an innate ability to motivate people to take action. She employs this gift to empower people to embrace life-changing experiences enabling them to discover self-compassion, ignite their vital energy, and restore their body, mind and spirit to health and wholeness.
Celia and her husband of 31 years, James, live in Dallas, TX. They have three grown children and Stewie, the sweetest dog in the world.
