| Blythe Twosisters Hoop Dance, Nia™ ![]() Blythe's Nia website Blythe's Hooping website |
A licensed Nia green belt instructor and certified Hoopnotica Hoop Dance instructor, Blythe has been moving her body with Nia since 2007 and Hoopdance since 2009. She became sedentary and inactive during graduate studies, and in typical Blythe fashion challenged herself with a strong goal: to learn to surf! Trying many forms of exercise to get fit to surf, she found Nia to be the perfect match. Blythe is closing in on that surf body goal, and additionally is noting a change and grace in her perception of the qualities of that surf body. Shortly after finding these two movements, she become an instructor knowing that is the best way for her to stay committed to the process of fun fitness. Nia saved her life by creating a body that functions with dynamic ease and creates space to notice what she has, not what she is lacking. Hooping saved her personality because it is fun! Smiling and skipping around when hooping, laughing when the hoop drops while trying a new trick, what's not fun about that? It's an honest addiction! | |
