The IN2YOU workshop experience connects you to your self and to your current environment, taking into consideration that the human body, mind, emotion and spirit is deeply connected to the world around you.

Oftentimes a fitness or dance class is approached from the quantitative angle, i.e, how many calories were burned, how many miles were done, how much weight was lifted, etc. IN2YOU minimizes quantity, in essence eliminates “competition” or “getting it right,” and maximizes quality, self-healing and purpose.

We allow our bodies, minds, emotions and spirits to expand and transform through movement. In addition to moving the body, we take the time in the present moment to reflect and analyze what is happening with our four realms by journaling the experience.

Body: The body is an amazing machine! We learn through physical movement of the body what causes us to retract and what causes us to expand.

Mind: Via imagery, we will learn what we tend to resist and what enables us to flow.

Emotion: We will learn about our feelings, attitudes and negative self-beliefs, how to accept ourselves and how to refuse thoughts and patterns that do not serve us.

Spirit: We will learn how to reject negative thought patterns and how to repair our precious self by creating intentional personal philosophy based on love, levity and compassion. 

Journaling allows us to capture the moment via thoughts and words and taps into the sub-conscious, allowing us to reveal us to ourselves on a deep and more meaningful level.

Hoop dance is all about having a good time while teaching your body to do new cool things. When combined with music and dance, hooping is a fun form of fitness and creative self-expression.

You will learn foundational hoop dance moves from core waist hooping to off-body tricks that will leave you fluidly transitioning the hoop on and off the body all while having an awesome time.
Hoopdancing helps you:

-build a stronger core
-tone those abs, arms, legs and buns
-strengthen mind-body connection
-let go, have fun and laugh out loud

Lisa's curriculum is based off of Punk Rock Hoops beginner series developed by Blythe TwoSisters. 'Punk rock' simply refers to an attitude of authenticity and wants to support you in being your most awesome self.

*Class hoops are provided for students. However, if you’re looking for your own hoop for home practice, Punk Rock Hoops dance hoops are available for purchase in the Abundance Boutique at MoveStudio. Not sure what hoop size hoop to get? Lisa will help you learn how to select the perfect hoop during the first class.

BollyX is a Bollywood-inspired dance-fitness program that combines dynamic choreography with the hottest music from around the world. Its cardio workout cycles between higher and lower-intensity dance sequences to get you moving, sweating, and motivated all at the same time. At the very core of a BollyX workout is the inspiration it draws from the music and dance of Bollywood, the film industry of India. We embody the infectious energy, expression and movement of Bollywood and aim to expand the reach of fitness to more people worldwide.

No prior dance experience is required – just a positive attitude and the desire to unleash your inner swagger!

Develop strength, grace, and fluidity while you explore this beautiful art form! Learn basic bellydance postures, movements, steps, and combinations along with a short choreography. Basic finger cymbal techniques will be introduced after the third class. You will be playing and dancing by the end of this fun and challenging 6-week session!

Learn the movements and techniques of traditional Middle Eastern bellydance. Bellydance is an increasingly popular form of fitness, body-mind practice, and personal/artistic expression for women of all ages, sizes and shapes. Celebrate your feminine beauty and power with this ancient art form.

The Basics series is designed for new beginners with little or no prior experience. It will help prepare you for drop-in classes through progressive instruction in basic Bellydance steps and technique. Beginners are also welcome in our drop-in mixed-level bellydance classes (see class schedule); however, the drop-in classes do move faster and assume some knowledge of the basics, so the best place for new beginners to start is in the Basics series.

Take your dance practice to the next level by learning a new bellydance choreography that will employ the graceful and mesmerizing movements Middle Eastern bellydance. Every 6 week series will focus on a different style of dance or props including, colorful veils, finger cymbals, and assya (dance cane).

For those who are already physically fit, belly dance can provide a new physical and mental challenge as you learn to move your body in new ways. While there are many opportunities to perform belly dance as an amateur or professional, you don't have to want to perform to benefit from this fun and healthy style of dance. It will help you tone and strengthen, release stress and tension in the body, move with more grace and fluidity, and celebrate your innate feminine power.

Prior dance experience is required for these classes, so enrollment requires instructor approval. The Bellydance Basics series is the best place to start for new beginners. We also offer the Wednesday evening mixed level belly dance class to further you adventures into this exciting art form.

I am still journeying. And I want you to join me.

Drawing from the juiciest elements of burlesque, striptease, exotic dance, belly dance, the power of being witnessed and of witnessing, you will create your own dance, moving in ways your body longs to move.

You are magic. Your body is a powerful vehicle for expressing that magic.

This is a beginning of a lifelong Love Affair.

Dress comfortably to move, in form-fitting, stretchable clothing. Bring water to drink, as you may get heated up. No dance skills necessary. All body types welcome.
